PASTOR GARY INAUGURATES A NEW SERMON SERIES TODAY on classic Christian theology (the study of God).  This four-part series is titled God’s Omni Attributes and will address the four primary attributes that God is credited with (omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience, and omni-benevolence).

MEMBERSHIP REQUESTS (SECOND READING) have been made by John Giattino, wishing to join us from the Marero SDA Church in Marero, Louisiana, and by Annette and Krystin Clay, wishing to join us from the Oceanside SDA Church in Oceanside, California.

THE PATHFINDERS’ ANNUAL SEE’S CANDY FUNDRAISER begins TODAY! This delicious fundraiser is vital to a successful Pathfinder year and contributes to everything from campouts to community outreach programs. Simply pick up an order form and payment envelope in the courtyard after church today to share with family and friends. Mark your selections, enclose your payment in the envelope, and return them both to the Pathfinder Club by Sabbath, October 21, to ensure your treats arrive by Thanksgiving. Start the holidays off sweetly and help our Pathfinder Club in the process!

SECRET FRIENDS, sponsored by Hearts to Hearts, has started again. If you would like to create a new friendship or celebrate an old one, the Secret Friends program is a fun way to do it! The “Reveal Luncheon” will be on Sabbath, November 4, in the fellowship hall. Contact Colleen (619) 850-3299 or Esther (858) 692-7662 to sign up.

A PATHFINDER CLOTHING DRIVE is underway to aid the victims who lost their belongings in the recent hurricanes. The Pathfinders are asking for clean or unused clothes to be donated by next Sabbath.

MIDWEEK FELLOWSHIP IS IN FULL SWING. We are currently in a bible study series titled Biblical Fools & Rascals.  This week we study the life of Cain.  What can we learn from Cain’s mistakes? Come join the discussion on Tuesdays at 6 pm in the Board Room.

AN SECC MEN’S MINISTRIES RETREAT will take place at Camp Cedar Falls from October 13-15, 2017. Come spend time in God’s Word and connect with men from all walks of life as we learn and grow together. Registration: For more info call (951) 509-2260 or email

OUR PARENTS’ ROOM is in need of gently used children’s books, toys, and stuffed animals. If your children have outgrown theirs, we hope you will consider donating them to our parents’ room.
