SHOEBOXES FOR THE HOMELESS is the Pathfinders’ current outreach project. On Sunday, March 26, the Pathfinders will hand out shoeboxes filled with small, toiletry-type items to those in need. They are asking for your donations of small, necessary, new items such as toothbrushes, combs, deodorant, female personal items, socks, and first aid supplies with which they’ll fill the boxes. The last day to donate is next Sabbath, March 25. Thank you!
TWO VOLUNTEERS are needed to greet in the church foyer after Sabbath School on April 1 from 10:40-11:10 am. It’s a great way to get to know your church family and no rotating volunteer commitment is necessary. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
THE SECRET SISTERS REVEALING LUNCHEON will be held on Sabbath, April 1, in the Fellowship hall following the worship hour.
PATHFINDER DAY & INVESTITURE PROGRAM will be on Sabbath, April 8, in the Sanctuary. During the worship hour, we will get a glimpse of the awesome things the Phoenix have accomplished this year. Then at 1 pm, all are invited to attend the Investiture Program, during which the Pathfinders will receive their honors and trophies. It’s an exciting time in the Pathfinder year and we hope you’ll join us in supporting our fantastic Tierrasanta Phoenix club.
THE WOMEN’S SHELTER is in dire need of new pillows and they are asking for donations of new or gently used, unstained pillows. If you would like to donate monetarily, please place your donation in a tithe envelope and mark “Women’s Shelter.” Walmart is currently selling pillows for as low as $4. A good night’s rest could mean the world to a family under immense stress.
