SECRET FRIENDS has started again! Previously known as “Secret Sisters,” our Secret Friends program develops friendships and deepens relationships through the anonymous sending of small notes and gifts to a special friend/family over the course of a couple months. Although the program was once exclusively reserved for women, we are now opening it up to the wonderful men in our congregation. OUR MIDWEEK FELLOWSHIP is currently looking closely at “The Writings of Israel.” The Hebrew Bible is divided into three parts—the Law (the Torah), the Prophets, and the Writings. These writings have often been referred to as the “wisdom literature” of the Bible. What can we learn from them? This week we examine the book of Ruth. You’re invited to join us on Tuesday at 6 pm in the Board Room.
A FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN is underway here at Tierrasanta to raise money for a new AV system for our sanctuary. A donor has pledged to match up to $30,000 of the funds raised for this campaign! The current A/V system is struggling to provide a quality church-going experience especially to those trying to view our service online. Please consider this new campaign in your contributions.
SUMMER SIGN UPS for volunteer opportunities are available on the bulletin board in the foyer. If you would like to volunteer just one time, please don’t hesitate to write your name down. No prior experience or rotating volunteer commitment is necessary.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL is on its way! The “Maker Fun Factory” is a world where curious kids become hands-on inventors who discover they’re lovingly crafted by God. The fun will arrive July 5-8 right here at the TSDA Church for kids ages 4-12. Mark your calendars and we will be sure to keep you informed of sign-up info.
