TODAY’S ADVENTIST FORUM MEETING begins at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. “Global Migration: A Christian Perspective for a Current Human Phenomenon” will be presented by Carlos Parra, Ph.D., Chair of the World Languages Department at La Sierra University. Although there is no Forum lunch today, we hope you enjoy our breakfast bar this morning while you listen to the lecture.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL CONCLUDES TODAY.  It has been an exciting week for all of our participants who have gotten the chance to learn about God, the Master Builder of our lives.  We want to extend a huge thank you to Judi Gusman and Christina Barba Choc, who poured hours of volunteer time into creating a memorable VBS program for our kids. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped bring the Maker Fun Factory to life. See you again next year!

SECRET FRIENDS has started again! Previously known as “Secret Sisters,” our Secret Friends program develops friendships and deepens relationships through the anonymous sending of small notes and gifts to a special friend/family over the course of a couple months. Although the program was once exclusively reserved for women, we are now opening it up to anyone, male or female, in our congregation. If you would like more info, or to select a Secret Friend of your own, please contact Colleen Larsen at (619) 850-3299.

A FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN is underway here at Tierrasanta to raise money for a new AV system for our sanctuary. An anonymous donor has pledged to match up to $30,000 of the funds raised! Thus far, we have received $24,742 in donations. The total cost of improvements will be $60,000. We are so close to reaching our goal so please consider this campaign in your contributions!

SUMMER SIGN UPS for volunteer opportunities are available on the bulletin board in the foyer. There are still a few spots left! If you would like to volunteer just one time, please don’t hesitate to write your name down. We love seeing new faces in the foyer and on the platform. No rotating volunteer commitment is necessary.

IF YOU HAVE A ROOM FOR RENT, we encourage you to check the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall periodically. We often have Adventists in the community or those in the process of moving to San Diego who are looking for a room to rent.

DID YOU KNOW the “Labels Make Cents” Program will donate $0.25 to the Tierrasanta Church for each Loma Linda, Worthington, and Caroline’s brand canned food label they receive? So the next time you’re cooking your vegetarian meal, don’t throw your labels away. Bring them to the Tierrasanta SDA Church office!

DO YOU NEED HELP with elder care, babysitting, errands, cooking, etc.? If so, please contact Angela Carralero by email at [email protected] or by phone at (619) 249-4778.
